Face to face between two freight trains
On Monday, October 13th, 2025, two freight trains were traveling towards each other on the same track near the “Witte Molen” bifurcation at Antwerpen-Noord. Thanks to the quick thinking of the drivers, the trains were braked and stopped approximately 200 meters apart. The incident caused no damage or injuries.
