Collision between a passenger train and a motor scooter on a level crossing
On 22 June 2026, at around 4:34 p.m., an SNCB/NMBS passenger train was approaching level crossing 10 on track B of railway line 52, located on Kapelstraat in Hoboken. The train driver noticed the presence of a motor scooter and rider on the level crossing and performed an emergency braking. Despite the emergency braking, a collision could not be avoided.
