Lorry struck by freight train
On Tuesday evening, 29 July 2025, a freight train collided with a lorry at the level crossing on Schoorhavenweg in Verrebroek (Port of Antwerp) on line 211, causing the freight train to derailed. The impact was significant: the lorry was dragged dozens of metres and the damage to the railway infrastructure was extensive. The rolling stock was also damaged in the accident. There were no casualties.
