November 2015 gegen 13.25 Uhr steht ein Linienbus der Verkehrsgesellschaft De Lijn auf den Gleisen des Bahn\u00fcbergangs in Pittem. Am Ende einer Kurve sieht der Triebfahrzeugf\u00fchrer eines Personenzuges der SNCB (Nationale Gesellschaft der Belgischen Eisenbahnen) einen Autobus, der den Bahn\u00fcbergang blockiert, und leitet die Notbremsung ein. Trotz der Notbremsung kommt es zur Kollision.
